Welcome to Trinity Children’s Ministry!
Mission Statement/Vision: We seek to come alongside parents, grandparents, and guardians in the discipleship of their children in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and strive to teach all children who enter our doors the Truth and how to align their lives with God’s standard through lessons, play, and music.
When your children are in our care you can rest assured of 3 things:
- They are loved! All because Christ loved us first.
- Truth from the infallible Word of God will be poured over them.
- Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us!
Children's Ministry Weekly Activities
Our children's ministry is currently operating Sunday School (9:30) for nursery through 6th grade and Children's Worship (11:15-11:45). We are able to offer Nursery for 0-2 year olds during Sunday School & our 10:45 service, and Children's Worship for 3 year olds through 1st grade.
Check-In Procedure:
All children must be checked in by a parent or guardian in order to be received into our care. Our security system ensures each child also goes home with the parent or guardian who dropped them off. Children cannot leave our care without a security label given to them at check-in.
Sunday School
Classes are taught by caring, trained adults each with an adult helper, all of whom have been background checked by our office. Our classes are as follows:
3-4 year olds - Mrs. Michelle
K-1st grade - Mrs. Broyles
2nd-3rd grade - Mrs. Lisa & Mrs. Alice
4th-5th grade - Mrs. Esther, Mr. Luke, & Mrs. Jesse
6th grade - Mrs. Laura & Mrs. Janice
Children's Worship is led by Mrs. Amy and her wonderful volunteers. Children are dismissed from the corporate worship service before the sermon for a time of discipleship and worship specifically designed for their age group. They will hear God's Word, participate in discussion of Who God is and what He has done for His people, and complete a craft that coincides with the lesson.
Registration is required for Children's Worship and space is limited.
Sunday Night Equip/Truth Singers/PreK Discipleship (Fall 10 weeks, Spring 8 weeks) 5:00-6:00pm
Equip for kids coincides with our youth and adult Equip classes each Sunday night. Nursery is provided from infants to 2 year-olds.
Our 3-4 year-olds will be taught age-appropriate curriculum by our capable volunteers, and children K-5th will be with Mr. Chris (our music minister) and his wonderful team of volunteers to learn about music and worship. In the fall, Truth Singers prepares a musical that is presented on a Sunday night in December each year.
Wednesday Night Ministry/Discipleship (Fall & Spring) 6:30-7:30pm
Nursery is now provided on Wednesday evenings! On Wednesdays its Bible Drills for kids 1st-6th grade. This ministry coincides with Youth and Adult Bible Study & Worship Choir throughout the year, with a break from May through July.
Children age 3-K are taught age-appropriate curriculum by our capable volunteers during this time as well.
