Operation Christmas Child is a project of  Samaritan’s Purse led by Franklin Graham.   Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes are delivered into the hands of children through local churches.  Every shoebox is an opportunity to reach a child with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It’s about telling children around the world and their families that God loves them.  We can take the Good News to the ends of the earth and do it through a shoebox.  Our goal is 250 shoe boxes .

The Meals Ministry needs for Saturday,  November 26th are sweet potatoes, green beans and banana pudding. Please sign  up for one of the above items on the “What’s Happening” board in the downstairs lobby, and  prepare 13 servings.  Bring your food on Saturday, November 26th by 9:00 a.m. Thank you.

 

Mark your calendar for the Ladies Cookie Exchange & Christmas Party on December the 18th from 5:00-7:00 in the Chapel.   More details to follow.

 

Coaches and referees are needed for UPWARD.  Please complete a form online or at the UPWARD  table downstairs, if you would be able to help us with coaching or refereeing this season.  Training  will be offered for both.

 

Happy Thanksgiving to each of you. The Lord has blessed us in so many ways that we often take for granted. Let’s remember to give THANKS to the LORD.
