Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse led by Franklin Graham. Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes are delivered into the hands of children through local churches. Every shoebox is an opportunity to reach a child with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s about telling children around the world and their families that God loves them. We can take the Good News to the ends of the earth and do it through a shoebox. Our goal is 250 boxes .
Deadline: November 21st.

Trinity Baptist Church celebrates Staff Appreciation Month in October. We will be collecting an offering for our staff during this month. Please designate your check “Staff Love Offering”, to let them know how much you have appreciated their work this year. This offering is collected during October rather than December to help our staff as well as the congregation, since December is such a busy time.
FALL FESTIVAL
Our annual Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, October 30th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed for this fun outreach: people to give out candy from the trunks of their (hopefully decorated) cars, candy donations, decorators, judges, safety and gatekeepers. LOOK for those red bins to place your candy and bottled water donations! Also, look for the sign-up to get a car pass in the downstairs lobby if you plan to distribute candy, and be ready to share the name of Jesus with the community. If you would like to help, contact Amy Herington: / 423-753-4394.
Foster Families Needed
Heritage Baptist Church will be hosting Harmony and Tennessee Kids Belong, along with a panel of foster/adoptive parents, former foster youth, and social workers as we answer your questions about what it looks like to be a foster parent in Tennessee. You will also be able to speak with a variety of agencies to take the next steps in your foster care journey. There will be food trucks ready to serve from 5:00pm - 6:00pm. The panel will start at 6:00pm. The movie WALL·E will be playing for children in an adjacent room when the panel starts. Monday, October 17th at Heritage Baptist Church.
