STAFF APPRECIATION--Trinity Baptist Church celebrates Staff Appreciation Month  in  October.  We will be collecting an offering for our staff during this month.  Please designate your check “Staff Love Offering”, to let them know how much you have appreciated their work this year.  This offering is    collected during October rather than    December to help our staff as well as the congregation, since December is such a busy time.

INVITATION TO WOMEN ON MISSION Trinity’s Women on Mission (WMU) meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 10:00 am in room #W-102.  This Tuesday, October 8th, they will host a guest speaker, Kristen Trivett, from the Isaiah 117 House Ministry.  If you have a heart for missions, Women on Mission is the group for you.

VITTLES AND VISITS -- Our senior adults will visit our shut-ins on Saturday,          October 12th.  We will meet here at the church at  9:00 am, then proceed to the    Jonesborough Pancake House for breakfast and fellowship.  Afterward, we will visit our church family who are unable to attend.  This has become a favorite activity of our seniors!

THE SENIORS ON THE ROAD  will travel to the Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theater on Saturday, November 2, 2019. We will enjoy lunch together followed by the             performance “Christmas in the Park.”  This show will fill up quick!  Sign up by  October 6th.  The cost is $45.00 for this event.

On Saturday, November 16th, the Senior Adults will travel to the Daniel Boone Inn,  Boone, NC.  We will depart at 9:00 am and return at approximately 2:30 pm.  Sign up downstairs soon, so that reservations can be made.  The cost is $25.00.  Designate your check  to “Daniel Boone Inn”.  We will pay with one check at the  restaurant.

UPWARD BASKETBALL AND CHEERLEADING will be starting before you know it! Please sign up in the downstairs lobby or contact Michael Bates if you are willing to coach, referee or be a prayer warrior for this ministry. Player registration began on    October 1. Congregation, please be in prayer for the upcoming season—that lives would be changed as players and their families come to know Christ, that everyone will honor Him in their behavior on the court and in the stands, and that the children have fun, develop new skills, and make new friends.   The date for coaches and referee training will be Monday, October 28th in room W-207 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

FALL FESTIVAL --  Our annual Fall Festival is just a few weeks away! Volunteers are needed for this fun outreach: people to give out candy from the trunks of their (hopefully decorated) cars, candy donations, decorators, judges, and gatekeepers. It will be on Thursday, October 31 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Watch for those red tubs to place your candy and bottled water donations!  Be sure to get a car pass in the downstairs lobby if you plan to distribute candy, and be ready to share the name of Jesus with the            community.  If you would like to help, contact Brittany May.

GOSPEL COALITION  - Registration is now open for the Gospel Coalition women's    conference in June of 2020! Attendees will travel to Indianapolis, IN,  to join  thousands of women from around the world in worship and the study of God's steadfast love seen in the book of James. Early registration will end on November 1st; use discount code TBC-JONESBOROUGH for $25 dollars off registration cost. More information in the   coming weeks on travel and lodging details. Contact Amy Herington or Haley Moore with any questions.

Please continue to pray for Emma, Mark, Jodie, Samuel, Sue Ellen, Gabe and baby.
