Bulletin Announcements for the Week of September 16, 2018

Posted by on

Mark your calendars and be in prayer for a churchwide Day of Renewal on Sunday, October 7. We will enjoy special times of worship together and have Ted Sinn as our guest speaker. Four joint services are planned throughout the day: 9:30, 10:45, 5:00, and 6:15. There will be no 8:30  service, adult/youth Sunday School, or Equip classes.

Upward Basketball and Cheerleading will be starting before you know it! Please sign up in the downstairs lobby or contact Michael Bates if you are willing to coach or volunteer in some other way. The first training for the coaches will be on September 30 at  4:45 in W-207. Congregation, please be in prayer for the upcoming season—that lives would be changed as players and their families come to know Christ, that everyone will honor Him in their behavior on the court and in the stands, and that the children have fun, learn a lot, and make new friends.

Trinity’s Knitting and Crocheting Classes (Dorcas Fellowship) will be starting back next month. Please sign up at the information desk if you are interested, and list what day/night and time works best for you. All levels are encouraged to join us as we learn together.

During the month of September we will be receiving our Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions. Please consider how much you would like to contribute to reach our neighbors for Christ. Church goal: $4700.

The next Meals Ministry will be on Saturday, September 29. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board if you are able to bring veggie salad, green beans, or brownies. (13 servings each)

EQUIP discipleship classes are continuing on Sunday evenings at 6:00. Join one of the following classes: Counter Culture, Tell Someone, Community Bible Reading, Living the Cross-Centered Life, How to Teach the Bible, or the women’s Bible study (Rebuild: A Study in Nehemiah). Children have the option of Bible Drill or choir during that hour. Youth are taking a discipleship class called “Will Our Generation Speak?”

Please continue to keep Emma, Mark, Jodie, Samuel, Sue Ellen, & Gabe in prayer.
