Our annual Fall Festival is this Wednesday (October 31) from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed for this fun outreach: people to give out candy from the trunks of their (hopefully decorated) cars, candy and bottled water donations, forest decorators, judges, and gatekeepers. If you wish, feel free to dress in a costume, though nothing too scary or gory, please.
Trinity celebrates Staff Appreciation Month in October. We are collecting an offering for our staff. Please designate your check “Staff Love Offering” to let them know how much you have appreciated their work this year. This offering is collected during October rather than December to help our staff as well as the congregation since December is such a busy time.
Women of Joy is taking orders for RADA knives at the information desk after and between services today.
Songfest 2018: An Appalachian Music Experience will be held on Sunday, November 4 at 3:00 p.m. at University Parkway Baptist Church. Plan to join Family Promise for an afternoon of great music featuring Carson Peters & Iron Mountain, Ed Snodderly and Friends, and ETSU Serenaders. Songfest is free to the public, but donations are welcomed.
The menu for our First Wednesday Fellowship on November 7 will be chicken and dressing casserole, hashbrown casserole, cranberry salad, green beans, rolls, pumpkin pie, and drinks. Dinner is being prepared by Women on Mission this month. You will need a ticket so that they can adequately prepare. Tickets can be picked up at the information desk downstairs on Sunday, October 28 or November 4. No tickets will be available after November 4.
Registration for Upward Basketball and Cheerleading for children in K5-8th grade continues through November 8 at a cost of $55 per child. After that date, the cost is $70. Mandatory evaluations and orientations begin on November 5, and practices begin the week of December 3. Registration forms are available in the church office, or you can register online at trinity3e.org.
