Shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child are available in the downstairs lobby. The filled boxes are due back by Sunday, November 19.
The Seniors are going to Knoxville for a riverboat cruise on Wednesday, October 25. The cost is $35. See the Seniors bulletin board downstairs to sign up.
The next Meals Ministry is on Saturday, October 28. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board in the downstairs lobby if you are able to bring boiled potatoes, coleslaw, or cookies (14 servings). Please bring your items to the Worship Center by 9:00 a.m. Drivers need to arrive by 9:30.
Trinity is hosting a benefit concert for the Harrod family on Sunday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. Included will be two local bluegrass bands: No Name But His and Hollow Ground. Also, enjoy the music of Lightnin' Charlie and Beth, By His Grace, the Trinity Quartet, and Julie Russell and the Trinity Praise Band. We will receive a love offering during this 75-minute concert.

The Fall Festival will be on Tuesday, October 31 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be trunk or treat, costume contests, glow-in-the-dark hayrides, and more. All donations for food and drinks will go to the Harrods. Wear your favorite costume….nothing too spooky, please…..and be ready to share the name of Jesus with the community. Be sure to get a car pass in the downstairs lobby if you plan to distribute candy. Also, red buckets are available in the lobbies for donations of candy and small bottled water. Starting at 4:00 that day, we will be hanging glow-in-the-dark hayride decorations. Volunteers needed!
A knitting and crocheting class will begin on Saturday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. in the upstairs lobby by the church office. Make plans to attend!
There will be a meeting of all Children’s Wing volunteers (nursery and up) on November 4 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Classroom to be determined. This will be a time of encouragement for our volunteers as well as covering new safety and security updates.
The Mission Team is hosting a Carrabba’s fundraiser in the gym on Wednesday, November 8 from 5:00-6:15 p.m. Proceeds will go toward the 2018 mission trip. The meal is Chicken Marsala, pasta, salad, and dessert and costs $10.
Register now for Upward basketball and cheerleading. It is for children in K5 through 6th grades. You may register online at upward.org or get an application here at Trinity. All registered children must attend one of the following evaluations: November 6, 7, or 9 between 6:30-8:00 p.m. Weekly practices begin the week of December 4. Coaches are also needed. Contact Michael Bates or register in the downstairs lobby.
