Bulletin Announcements for the Week of November 5, 2017

Upward evaluations are this week! All registered children must attend an evaluation on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday between 6:30-8:00 p.m. Upward is for children in K5 through 6th grades who would like to participate in either  cheerleading or basketball. You may register online at upward.org or get an application here at Trinity. Weekly practices begin the week of December 4. Coaches are also needed. Contact Michael Bates or register in the downstairs lobby.

The Mission Team is hosting a Carrabba’s fundraiser in the gym this Wednesday (November 8) from 5:00-6:15 p.m. Proceeds will go toward the 2018 mission trip. The meal is Chicken Marsala, pasta, salad, and dessert and costs $10. This is your last day to get a ticket!

The Church Office will be closed on Friday, November 10 in observance of Veterans  Day.

The Seniors are going to Amis Mill Eatery in Rogersville this Saturday, November 11. The cost is $18. Sign up on the Seniors bulletin board downstairs.

GriefShare is sponsoring “Surviving the Holidays” on Thursday, November 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Contact Woody Johnson at 753-3821 if you plan to attend.

Shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child need to be returned by Sunday,  November 19.

The next Meals Ministry is on Saturday, November 25. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board in the downstairs lobby if you are able to bring potato salad, green beans, or banana pudding (14 servings). Please bring your items to the Worship Center by 9:00 a.m.  Drivers need to arrive by 9:30.

Mark your calendar: The annual JAMA concert will be on Wednesday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Trinity Worship Center. Admission is either a financial donation (checks made payable to JAMA) or canned goods to resupply the Jonesborough Area Ministerial Association’s food pantry. Come enjoy a festive and worthwhile start to the Christmas season!

Trinity will be serving lunch for FISH at DCHS on Friday, December 1. Please be at the school by 10:45 if you are able to help. Donations are also needed to purchase the lunches. You can make your check payable to Trinity, and write “FISH” on the memo line.

Women of Joy and Women on Mission have a few jars of apple butter left. Hurry and get yours while they last. Suggestion donation: $5.00 per pint. All proceeds go to the “Bring Emma Home Fund”.
