Posted by Elizabeth Shaver on

Today (November 4) is Prove the Tithe Day. Every member is encouraged to give their tithe and prove Malachi 3:10.

Good Samaritan’s Operation Christmas Child has begun! Boxes and directions are available in the downstairs lobby. This is a wonderful outreach to children throughout the world in the name of Christ. Please return your box by noon on Monday, November 19 at the latest!

The JAMA Christmas Celebration will be on Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. As we kick off the Christmas season, several area choirs will be performing in celebration of Christ’s birth. This annual program benefits the Jonesborough Area Ministerial Association. Please bring non-perishable foods for their food pantry. A love offering will also be collected for JAMA.

Registration for Upward Basketball and Cheerleading for K5-8th grade continues through Thursday (November 8) at a cost of $55 per child. The cost jumps to $70 beginning November 9. Mandatory evaluations and orientations begin tomorrow, and practices begin the week of December 3.  Registration forms are available in the church office, or you can register online at trinity3e.org.

Sign up in the downstairs lobby or contact Michael Bates if you are willing to coach Upward Basketball or Cheerleading. The next training for coaches is on Thursday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Room.

The Trinity Staff would like to thank you for your gracious love offering. It is a blessing to be able to serve the Lord here. We love you all.

The Church Office will be closed on Monday, November 12 in observance of Veterans Day.

Please continue to keep Emma, Mark, Jodie, Samuel, Sue Ellen, & Gabe in prayer.

Songfest 2018: An Appalachian Music Experience will be held TODAY (November 4) at 3:00 p.m. at University Parkway Baptist Church. Plan to join Family Promise for an afternoon of great music featuring Carson Peters & Iron Mountain, Ed Snodderly and Friends, and ETSU Serenaders. Songfest is free to the public, but donations are welcomed.

The 39th Annual Veterans Musical will be conducted on Sunday, November 11 at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Jonesborough Visitors Center. The musical guests will be the Appalachian Express Chorus.

Our own Kerri Baxter will be playing in Mary Poppins at the Gregory Center on the Milligan College Campus. The dates are November 9-11 and 16-18. Tickets are $20 regardless of age. Go to trinityartscenter.com to reserve your tickets.
