Bulletin Announcements for the Week of November 12, 2017

The church office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23-24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Training for Upward coaches will be on Thursday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel.  All coaches need to attend.

Shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child need to be returned by next Sunday, November 19.

GriefShare is sponsoring “Surviving the Holidays” this Thursday, November 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Contact Woody Johnson at 753-3821 if you plan to attend.

The next Meals Ministry is on Saturday, November 25. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board in the downstairs lobby if you are able to bring potato salad, green beans, or banana pudding (14 servings). Please bring your items to the Worship Center by 9:00 a.m.  Drivers need to arrive by 9:30.

The annual JAMA Christmas Celebration will be on Wednesday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Trinity Worship Center. Canned goods to resupply the Jonesborough Area Ministerial Association’s food pantry will be accepted at the door. Also, an offering will be received during the concert. Make checks payable to JAMA. Come enjoy a festive and worthwhile start to the Christmas season!

Trinity will be serving lunch for FISH at DCHS on Friday, December 1. Please be at the school by 10:45 if you are able to help. Donations are also needed to purchase the lunches. You can make your check payable to Trinity, and write “FISH” on the memo line.

Weekly Upward practices begin the week of December 4. Parents of registered children will be contacted soon with the day and time for your child. Additional coaches are still needed. Contact Michael Bates or register in the downstairs lobby.

To provide a meal for the Harrods at Wellmont Hospice House, sign up on the Meal Train schedule at  Please continue to keep Emma, Mark, Jodie, Sue Ellen, & Samuel in prayer.

Women of Joy and Women on Mission have a few jars of apple butter left.  Hurry and get yours while they last. Suggestion donation: $5.00 per pint. All proceeds go to the “Bring Emma Home” fund.

The hours of the church office are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00. We are closed from noon to 1:00 for lunch. If you come to the church during office hours, please use entrance D upstairs and ring the bell on the right side of the door to be let into the building.
