Posted by Elizabeth Shaver on

There will be no evening activities at the church tonight (May 13) in observance of Mother’s Day.

Our Trinity children will be presenting the Spring Children’s Choir Concert next Sunday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. A reception will follow. Everyone is invited to attend! This is also the time that our 6th graders will be promoted to Youth.

Vacation Bible School is only three weeks away! Please pre-register your child online NOW at www.trinity3e.org. Attending a training meeting is a requirement of volunteering in any capacity at VBS. Come on either Sunday, May 20 at 4:30 p.m. or Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. Even if you attended training for a past VBS, you must still attend one this year.

Decorating Day for VBS in on Saturday, June 2 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Many hands and feet are needed to get the church looking like the Time Lab. Lunch will be provided for those who come to help!

The next Meals Ministry will be on Saturday, May 26. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board in the downstairs lobby if you are able to bring baked beans, coleslaw, or Little Debbie Cakes (14 servings each).

High school graduate recognition is May 27 at the 10:45 a.m. service. If you would like you son or daughter to be recognized, please turn in graduation and baby pictures for the screens. They need to be in the church office by May 23.

Trinity will be serving lunch at the Melting Pot on Tuesday, May 29. To participate, be at Munsey Memorial UMC in Johnson City by 10:45 a.m.

Ice Cream Sunday is on June 10! We are looking for volunteers to bring their freezer(s) filled with homemade ice cream to share. Sign up in the downstairs lobby with the flavors you’ll bring.

The Senior Adults are going to Bays Mountain followed by lunch at Piccadilly on Friday, June 15. Sign up on the Seniors bulletin board in the downstairs lobby.

The 11th Annual Red Black & Blue Race for Ian is on Saturday, June 16. All proceeds go to the Tennessee Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorders Foundation (THBDF). There are three ways that you can sign up to run or financially support this event: go to racentry.com and look for the race, go to the Race for Ian community on Facebook and click on the link, or go to runtricities.org and print off a registration form. We also need volunteers and door prizes. Please contact Michael or Sarah Bates at 423-767-6814 or 423-767-6815 if you can help.

You’re invited to the wedding of Owen Rowe and Jennifer Brewer on Saturday, June 2 at 2:00 at Antioch Baptist Church. “Gifts are appreciated but not necessary. Your company is the best gift of all!”

Please continue to keep Emma, Mark, Jodie, Sue Ellen, & Samuel Harrod in prayer.
