Wednesday Night Summer Classes for children have begun. Sign up for two classes per child in the Children’s Ministry check-in area. Opportunities include leatherworking, fitness & flexibility, loom knitting, animal biology, and music.

The next Meals Ministry will be this Saturday, June 30. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board in the downstairs lobby if you are able to bring veggie salad, corn or cookies.  (14 servings each).

Women on Mission are collecting school supplies in July for students at Jonesborough Elementary and Middle Schools. There will be tubs at each entrance for you to deposit the school supplies. If you do not like to shop or are unable, indicate “Christmas in July” in the memo section of your check made payable to TBC, and Women on Mission will shop for you. Items needed are soap, crayons, pencils, loose leaf paper, backpacks, deodorant, toothpaste, glue sticks, spiral notebooks, toothbrushes, and three-ring binders.

Trinity is having a churchwide picnic at Rotary Park on Sunday, July 8 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided by the church. The menu includes hot dogs, corn dogs, and chicken nuggets. Pick up your free ticket(s) on June 24 or July 1 so that we will know how much food to prepare. If you would like to play on the splash pad, dress appropriately! Rotary Park is at 1001 N. Broadway St., Johnson City. We will meet at the Harris Pavilion.

Trinity will be making a new pictorial directory this year. We encourage everyone to have their photo taken between July 12-14 in the Chapel. You will need an appointment. Go to to schedule your portrait online or call The Portrait Cafe at 614-3936 ext. 360 or ext. 368. When you come for your photo, make sure NOT to wear green. The color interferes with  the  “green screen”  behind you and will not make a good photo.

The Deacons will be serving lunch for the Senior Adults on Saturday, July 21. Sign up on the Seniors bulletin board in the downstairs lobby.

The Trinity Mission Team will be working with the children at the Baptist Center July 25-28. Sign up in the downstairs lobby to participate.

The Seniors on the Road will be riding on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad on Saturday, August 18. Assuming a minimum of 20 people sign up, the cost will be $80.38 for the train ride, lunch, and gas. Dinner will be your choice. More information and sign-ups are on the Seniors bulletin board downstairs.

Please continue to keep Emma, Mark, Jodie, Sue Ellen, & Samuel Harrod in prayer.
