We still have angels to be chosen from the bulletin board in the downstairs lobby. All angels and gifts must be returned by next Sunday, December 9.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions will be collected in December. Be praying about how much you will contribute this year. Our church goal is $20,000.

Our annual Carrabba’s Mission Fundraiser is this Wednesday, December 5 at 5:00 in the Worship Center. The menu includes chicken marsala, pasta salad, Caesar salad, and a dessert. You will need to purchase your tickets today at the information desk so that enough food will be available. Tickets are $10 each.

Christmas at Trinity—Trinity’s adult choir will present Christmas Is Coming at 4:00 TODAY (December 2). The children’s Christmas program (Christmas at Bethlehem Gulch) will be at 6:00 on December 9, and our annual covered-dish Christmas dinner will be at 5:00 on Sunday, December 16. Also, our Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service will be on Monday, December 24 at 5:00 p.m. There will be no evening activities on December 23 or 30, nor on Wednesday, the 26th.

Our Covered-Dish Christmas Dinner will be on Sunday, December 16 at 5:00 in the Worship Center. Sign up in the downstairs lobby to bring a salad, meat dish, vegetable, and/or dessert. This is always a  special time for our church as we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Adult Sunday School Teacher Party: All adult Sunday School teachers and their spouses are invited to a Christmas party on December 15 at 5:00 in the Chapel. Come for dinner and lots of laughter.

Prepare Him Room is an Advent devotional book designed for young families which includes Bible readings, Christmas activities, and songs. The cost is $9 at the Information Desk. Supplies are very limited.

Trinity cookbooks are now on sale in the downstairs lobby for $10 each. Proceeds will fund mission projects within the church.

Practices for Upward Basketball and Cheerleading begin this week. If you have not yet been contacted about your child’s practice day and time, contact Michael Bates or Nate Fowler. Games begin on Saturday, January 5. (Late registration continues through December 7 at $70/child.)

Please continue to pray for Emma, Mark, Jodie, Samuel, Sue Ellen, & Gabe.

Inclement Weather: You can find out if a service or activity at the church has been altered due to weather by going to the Trinity Facebook page (Trinity Baptist Church-Jonesborough TN), website (trinity3e.org), or by calling the church office.  If you are on the prayer chain, you will also receive an e-mail announcing the schedule change.
