Bulletin Announcements for the Week of December 10, 2017

Inclement Weather: You can find out if a service or activity at the church has been altered due to weather by going to the Trinity Facebook page (Trinity Baptist Church-Jonesborough TN), website (, or by calling the church office. If you are on the prayer chain, you will also receive an e-mail announcing the schedule change.

Prayerfully consider how much you would like to contribute to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions. This annual offering will be collected through the month of December. Church goal: $14,000.

The Trinity children and youth Christmas concert is TONIGHT (December 10) at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. The children’s program, “An Island Christmas,” will transport you to a warmer climate as you hear the story of our Savior’s birth. The youth will conclude the program with their Christmas songs.

Trinity’s annual Christmas Potluck Dinner will be next Sunday, December 17 at 5:00 p.m. Sign up with what you will bring on the boards in the downstairs lobby.

Skate Night for our children and youth is on Wednesday, December 20 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Johnson City Family Skatecenter. The cost to skate is covered, but be sure to bring money for the snack bar.

The Sunday morning schedule on Christmas Eve is as follows: Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship at 10:45. There will be NO 8:30 a.m. service. This will be our December Family Worship service. There will be Children’s Worship on December 31.

Trinity’s Candlelight Communion Service will be at 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve in the Worship Center.

The next Meals Ministry is on Saturday, DECEMBER 30. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board in the downstairs lobby if you are able to bring coleslaw, peaches, or cake (14 servings). Please bring your items to the Worship Center by 9:00 a.m. Drivers need to arrive by 9:30.

Enrollment for the Trinity Church Choir will be open at the start of 2018. The first rehearsal after the Christmas holiday is January 7. Come lead the congregation in worship each Sunday. See Tony Bowman for more information.

If you have signed up to provide a meal for the Harrods, please keep tabs as to whether they will be at Wellmont Hospice House or at home. Emma is expected to move home tomorrow.
