Bulletin Announcements for the Week of April 28, 2019

FIRST WEDNESDAY FELLOWSHIP MEAL – The First Wednesday Fellowship Meal is this week from 5:15-6:15 p.m. You will need to pick up your free ticket in the downstairs lobby by Sunday, April 28th, so that we’ll know how much food to prepare. This month we’ll be serving BBQ, baked beans, loaded potato salad, apple pie with ice cream and drinks.       Donations are accepted.

Please continue to pray for Emma, Mark, Jodie, Samuel, Sue Ellen, & Gabe.

CO-ED SOFTBALL - Signups continue through the month of April!  Any men and women (must be 16 years old) who are looking for a fun spring activity are  encouraged to signup for Trinity's Co-Ed Softball Team.  The games and      pre- season  practices will begin soon and are held almost exclusively on Monday evenings.                                                                                                       Contact Coaches Jon Tuell  (423-833-6700) or Michael Bates (423-767-6814).

SENIOR ADULT OVERNIGHT MYSTERY TRIP - FOURTH MYSTERY TRIP CLUE:       Bring a light jacket.    Limited space.   May  17-18.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL  - VBS will be June 2nd-6th from 6:15pm-8:45pm for children ages 3 years-upcoming 6th graders. The theme is The Incredible Race: One Family.  One Race.  One Savior.  Registration for children will begin online May 5th at  If you would like to volunteer in VBS this year, you must be a member of or regularly attend Trinity Baptist, and you must attend one training session even if you have previously volunteered. Training sessions are  Wednesday,  May 8th,  from 6:30pm-7:30pm or Sunday, May 19th from 9:30am-10:30am.

Trinity kids are headed to Centrikid summer camp July 22nd-26th at Gardner-Webb University. Camp is for children who are upcoming 3rd graders-upcoming 6th graders. The theme is All Access based in John 17:3. Please contact our Children’s Ministry Director, Brittany Carson, for more information.

ANNIE ARMSTRONG - Please pray for the 5,000 plus missionaries who are ministering and sharing the gospel with the more than 273 million who have no relationship with Jesus.  Through prayer,  God is opening doors,  and lives are being transformed.   The 2019 theme is “Sending Hope”. 

 Our goal for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is $12,000.00.

MELTING POT -Trinity will be serving lunch at the Melting Pot on Tuesday, April 30th. To  participate, be at Munsey Memorial UMC in Johnson City by 10:45 a.m. 

MEAL’S MINISTRY needs for May are baked beans, cole slaw, and Little Debbie Cakes. Sign up on the “What’s Happening?” bulletin board if you are   willing  to provide any of  these items on May 25th by 9:00 a.m.  Drivers need to arrive by 9:30 a.m.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION RECOGNITION - Sunday, May 19th.  Please send your graduating high school senior’s graduation and baby photos to the church office by Sunday, May 12th. They will be recognized during the 10:45 a.m. service.  In addition, the 6th grade class will be promoted to the Youth   during the 10:45 service on this date.
