Trinity Church Choir
Scripture is full of singing praise to God. There are over 600 Bible verses that speaks of praising God. One would think it to be important! And, singing is one of the ways that God is praised corporately.
When scripture says to “sing to the Lord” (Psalm 96), I believe that means to vocally praise Him with music. Singing has been an important corporate elements in the places of worship throughout the centuries. God expects His children to sing to Him as an act of worship.
Not only are we to sing corporately, but personally. Personal worship of God is a must for the Christian. It keeps our eyes and ears tuned to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It gives us incentive be of service in God’s Kingdom.
The thrill of the ministry of music is the teaching of new members in the choir program. Whether it be children, youth or adults, there is satisfaction for those who are “studying to present his/her best to God for His approval” (II Timothy 2:15).
All choirs welcome any and all who come to rehearse, and, to present their best to God.
